This is a notice that the Christmas Bird Count is taking place this Thursday. A local group of bird enthusiasts will be meeting at 7:30am at the Pony, then organizing themselves into various groups for counting throughout the day at various locations.
The area covered is from Lillooet Lake to Erikson Road and from Spetch Creek to Shadow Lake at Hwy 99.
The Christmas Bird Count takes place annually and the Chief has given permission for counters to be on Reserve on Thursday, December 15th so if you see a small group of people with binoculars pointed at a tree or field you will know what is happening.
If you have any questions about the bird count or would like to participate please email Hugh Naylor at hjnaylor@telus.net
