The Recreation Committee is working with Nick Andrew to try and make this happen for May 2012. In order for this to happen we are in need and are calling all of Lil’wat to come out and volunteer down at the rodeo grounds. We are in need of maintenance workers, helpers with the parade, etc., etc. So Lil’wat, if you can all donate your time and go and volunteer, that would be greatly appreciated, let’s all make this May Day Rodeo happen.

Upper Lillooet Hydro Project
Community Information Sessions

The Lil’wat Land and Resources Department is preparing an Aboriginal Interest and Use Study to evaluate the potential environmental, cultural, and economic effects of the Upper Lillooet Hydro Project, which would include three run-of-river hydro projects in the Upper Lillooet (Keyhole Falls), Boulder Creek, and North Creek. We invite you to attend either one or both of these information sessions to learn more about the proposed project and to provide your input on the Lil’wat study.
